Android app 1.0.2 — the needless “weren’t saved” alert is gone, trash cleanup waits for sync, steadier calendar linking
The Android app update is now on the Play Store. The changes that reached the web on September 16 are in the app too.

Removed a needless “changes weren’t saved” notice and made trash auto-cleanup safer
Sometimes a “Some changes weren’t saved” notice appeared even though nothing was lost. It came from this device trying to clean up trash items another device had already emptied — your data was never affected.
That notice no longer appears. If saving ever does fail, we see it on our side first and fix it
The 30-day trash auto-cleanup now runs only after this device has finished syncing with the server
The message shown when sync stops has been simplified — it now just tells you your edits are safe on this device
(Android) The same changes ship with the next app update
Safer sign-out checks, keyboard accessibility, and agent API paging
We widened the checks that keep unsent work from being lost, and cleared the spots that blocked keyboard-only use.
Signing out now also checks for recordings still uploading — changes, attachments, and recordings are each counted and shown
Switching accounts no longer leaves the previous account's sync state behind
Permanently deleting from the trash now removes the original recording file too, and a recording that fails to upload is cleaned up right away instead of lingering on the server
The mobile AI panel and the calendar/import confirmation dialogs now work with a keyboard — focus stays inside and Esc closes them
Agent API: item listing is now paged (has_more and limit fields) — check has_more before treating a list as complete. Responses also carry an outcome field describing the result
Document usage is calculated correctly after restoring a backup
Connecting Google Calendar is now safer — the connection completes only in a window signed in to the account that started it. The connected-calendar list now shows a recent sync failure right away
We amended the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy — how recordings and voice-file transcription are processed and when original audio is deleted, the retention periods of AI processors, responsibility for recordings that include other people’s voices, and guidance regarding children under 14

Android app 1.0.1 — free recording, a canvas record button, and better backup export
The Android app update is rolling out on the Play Store. Changes that opened on the web first are now in the app.
Speak-to-create and canvas recording transcription now work on the free plan (300 minutes a month, up to 105 minutes per recording)
A record button now sits at the top of the editing canvas — if you close the canvas mid-recording, what you've recorded so far is kept
If a recording would run past your remaining voice minutes for the month, the app tells you before it starts and stops automatically when the time is up — recordings that couldn't be transcribed are not kept on the server
Account › Backup export now includes every item, even past 1,000
Plan notices now read consistently wherever a feature needs a plan

This update brings our legal documents in line with how the service actually works, and tightens how we honor data retention promises.

When you ask the AI about a category that doesn't exist, it now says so instead of returning arbitrary results — and when a list is cut short, it tells you. It can also count records by title prefix accurately

If a plan change leaves you with more registered devices than your plan includes, you can now release unused devices right from the prompt and carry on — these releases don't count toward your monthly device changes

"Agent connection" is now in your account settings
You can now connect the AI tools you use so they write their finished work straight into your Syncing calendar. Issue a personal token in your account settings, then paste the accompanying instructions (usage guide included) into your tool.
The token is shown once at creation and never stored on our side. You can revoke it at any time
Entries land on your calendar as events with a start and end time, marked as agent entries across all three views
Extended abilities such as editing, deleting, and reading items can be enabled per token on the Pro plan
